The Gas Nodes layer (a separate file) is continually updated on a daily basis by City staff from the Public Utilities Division. Location data for the Gas Nodes layer are received by Public Utilities staff (from various sources, such as GPS, plats, site plans etc.) and incorporated into this layer. The information contained in this file is NOT to be construed or used as a "legal description". Any errors or omissions should be reported to Public Utilities for correction.
The purpose of this file is to allow users access to general knowledge of the location of underground utilities, and to provide assistance to City staff and City contractors for daily activities and future planning.
